Wind And Waves

I’d been hearing about Merry for days before her arrival. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about her coming because I knew it meant I would lose my role as the ” special princess” which I was quite enjoying! Sure enough, she was just as great as everyone said…..and I definitely lost my role :-). Once she arrived though….. things got even more fun. She brought life to everyone and everything. She is one of the best conversationalist I’ve ever met. Here’s a photo of her and Wayne fixing her shoes.

I was pretty sad to see Eric go. It felt like I was losing the older brother I always wanted. But I think we’ve got a lifelong friendship. He’s a real special person. Along with a number of other things he gave me before he left……he gave me a Kata he got Nepal, that was blessed by the Dalai Lama. Its a fragile white silk scarf, a gift given in the Tibetan custom that lends a positive note to the start of an enterprise….. a Journey piece. This gift means a lot to me! I’ve been taking it with me everywhere……of course!
