I’ve been taking a memoir class and doing lots of writing.  Its been a lot of fun and hard work but mostly really inspiring.  Someday I hope to write a memoir……

Outside my window a storm is blowing in…..feircly. I can hear the wind whistling and the house creaking.  There is already snow resting on the edges of the windows.  I’d hate to be walking outside right now.  We are forecasted to get nearly a foot of snow through tonight and tomorrow.  Yes! Yes! Yes!  If its gonna be winter, it might as well snow……unless of course, its going to be a sunny gorgeous day like it was a couple weeks ago (see above)

from my journal Jan 28th:

“Today, I loved.  I took off my shoes, rolled my pants up, bunched up my sleeves and chased a frisby around in my bare feet! yes,yes,yes!  I felt wonderfully free and summery. “

I discovered, to my delight, that the cubicle partitions, make a great backdrop for a puppet show.  So one day after I had been at work for few hours and needed some wake me up, stimulation, human contact…..  I did a little puppet show for my friend on the other side.  This got me what I wanted; some laughs, people adding their own creative elements on to it and a bit of a break from the repetition of our work.  For just a little bit, we were all human……until we started to feel a little guilty about not working and settled back into our chairs  in front of the glowing blue of the computer.

Eli’s parents got us a Crock pot for Christmas!  We have been having lots of fun making different dishes.
