Above: Bryan and Heather and Jake. After their skiing /snowshoeing adventures, Bryan and his wife Sou came to the city for a visit! Which I Sooooo appreciated. Such a treat to see them and have the afternoon the hang out! Here was a poetic email from Bryan: (what a writer he is!)
“Hey Laura, It was great to see you and great to see Colorado! It was great to feel the cold and BE cold. It was great to see snow and experience the wonder of watching snow fall. It was great to dress in long pants, long sleeve shirts plus a jacket. It was great to put on shoeshoes and walk through the snow covered forest. It was great to experience the intense quiet that can only be experienced IN a snow covered forest. It was great to see an old friend (but not feel old) and have uninhibited conversation. It was great to drink red wine in a rooftop loft. It was great to prowl around your apartment and be inspired by your space, your “artsy-ness”, and your art. It was great to eat Thai food. It was great to walk down streets I knew at one time and rediscovered from the far corners of my memory.
