My oh my. Something about this place really calls to me. Can I settle here? Would I like it? It feels so amazing her. We dipped our feet in the San Juan, and explored some of the land. Turns out a big Pueblo used to be (still is) right about where I was standing and they had a lot of Kivas. Magical. This place is magical!
Bluff, land I love love love.

ON the road!
May 18th, 2015 · La Vida
Leaving can be so hard! Why is that, I wonder. I was super excited to head out on our adventure and also….It was hard to leave my room! My room is dreamy, with its brick walls, Hexagon shape, high ceilings and big skylight that opens like a hatch on a sailboat. But alas. All the pieces finally seemed to reach a precipice and come together quickly smoothly. What a magical process.
We stayed with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jonces, up in Eagle. Their hospitality is warm and welcoming! We visited for a couple hours, talking mostly about our upcoming trip and some of their adventures. Yippee!
We woke early and zipped out before Eagle rush hour traffic. But not before finding a really cozy, fun, happening little coffee shop in the Eagle Town Center.
We reached Moab in time for a yummy breakfast with Fred. I love visiting Fred. I feel like his motorcycle shop, in Moab is my second home and I’m really appreciative of the opportunities I have to visit with Fred. He tells me of all the interesting people who have come through his shop and all the various on goings around Moab. The exciting piece of our conversation on this visit was……land for sale in Bluff, right on main street. I LOVE Bluff 🙂 and have been entertaining the idea of running a motorcycle tour out of the small town.
A group selfie at the Diner in Moab! Photo-bombed by our waitress :-)!

New Business Cards for the road!
May 13th, 2015 · La Vida
Scott and I sat down to design business cards. And it was pretty exhilarating! Our plan is to connect with people and see some beautiful landscapes (desert/tropics/ocean/red rocks…) on our month long trip and then come back to Colorado and do a 3 day, moto adventure {Trial Run!} Anyone interested in joining me? I’m going to be updating my blog so I can share and express as the beautiful (or not so beautiful) process unfolds. Follow the light! (this is going to be my motto for this adventure)
Making these journals is one of my true loves in life. And, if I do say so myself, they turn out beautifully and are a delight to write in.
“I learned that you should feel when writing, not like Lord Byron on a mountain top, but like a child stringing beads in kindergarten — happy, absorbed and quietly putting one bead on after another.”

What Does A Motorcyclist Look Like? | Bored Panda
May 9th, 2015 · La Vida
When you think of motorcycles and the people who ride them, often a specific image comes to mind. Does that image look like any of the motorcyclists pictured below? Women ride motorcycles across the planet. They ride dirt bikes, sport bikes, cruisers, dual sports and trials bikes.

Horse Retreat
May 9th, 2015 · La Vida
We had a special opportunity as part of our facilitation Training class (thank you Carole! you see opportunity and lovingly open experiences up to people, that are remembered forever) to go out to Paula’s Ranch in Elizabeth and spend the day working with horses! http://www.hawkflightcoaching.com/h
It is profound what I learned from the horses. One of them being, I can so clearly see my projections. And they read energy 🙂

“Situated squarely in that terrifying paradise called Freedom,

precipitously out on so many emotional limbs, it was as if I had been born; and in fact I was being reborn as the woman I was to become.”
Wow. Alice Walker is an awesome woman! I only recently discovered, that she has written a ton of really good books, other than The color Purple, which….you know, is super intense!
I love her honesty and her calm, motherly, loving energy she puts out to the world.
In addition to Alice Walkers, Hard Times Require Hard Dancing, book of poems, I am currently reading a few spiritual books (what else is new!) and one of the book suggest that we look at our bodies and try to understand what our life purpose is by the body we chose to inhabit for this lifetime. An interesting thought! I do look at myself and wonder why I am so strong and why my bones are so big…….I have a body that is designed well to be outside. This much I understand. If i could chose a face to have in this lifetime, I would chose Alice Walker’s! I think she is Beautiful. Deeply beautiful and easy to receive. She has a kindness and a strong sense of personal sovereignty that is gripping. She strikes me as someone who is not afraid to explore her truths deeply and speak them, kindly, assuredly and gently. Thank you Alice Walker!! For being an elder, feminine role model!
Today is the first day of SPRING!!!! To celebrate, I made a collage. Well, it isn’t done yet but I had the opportunity to dazzle my eyes with flowers and greens and colors and blooms and blossoms and running water and sunshine! Ah spring is so delicious!
I woke to the birds chirping! One of the most beautiful sounds in the world. My tulips were alight with Sunshine.
and I was feeling MUCH better. Thank god! I spend all of yesterday in bed, so so sick. So today really feels like a new shining day. Everything is new. It is strange to spend the entire day in your bed. It gives you a whole new concept on what a day is. It feels like an eternity. Amazing that our days feel like they go so quickly because actually they are so long! I realized this also, on my vision quest. How slowly, slowly the sun creeps across the sky.
I treasure the gift of time moving slowly.
